Anthony Nuckles
Treasurer
Anthony Nuckles is a native of Seale, Alabama, where he grew up with a keen interest in computers and technology. He graduated from Alabama State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
Professional Journey
Anthony has a long and successful career at UPS, the world’s largest package delivery company and a leading global provider of specialized transportation and logistics services. He started as a part-time employee while attending ASU. After graduating from ASU, he was hired as an IT technician, where he installed and supported computer hardware and software for the company’s operations. He quickly rose through the ranks and became an IT manager, overseeing the IT infrastructure and systems for the Alabama District.
Executive Leadership
Anthony’s current role is the president of the South Atlantic District. He is responsible for the strategic direction and performance of UPS’s business activities in 3 states. He leads a team of more than 17,000 employees and manages more than 55 facilities.
Mentorship and Service
In addition to his executive responsibilities, Anthony is a committed mentor to aspiring leaders. He actively shares his experience and insights to help others grow professionally, fostering a culture of leadership, accountability, and continuous development throughout the organization.
He is married to LaNeata, and they have three children. When he is not working, he enjoys spending time with his family and friends, playing golf, and watching sports. He is also involved in various charitable causes and volunteers at his local church.
