Kwoneathia Boswell, Ph.D., is a licensed psychologist in the state of Alabama. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology with a minor in Business Management from The University of Alabama, where she graduated summa cum laude. She obtained her Master of Arts and Doctor of Philosophy degrees in Psychology from the University of Mississippi (Clinical Psychology program). Her training and clinical experience have included working with a variety of clients, including students and adults, providing individual and group therapy.

Clinical Practice

Dr. Boswell currently provides therapy services at The Samaritan Counseling Center, Inc. (TSCC) in Montgomery, Alabama. Prior to joining TSCC, she provided counseling and psychological services to college students at Auburn University, Western Kentucky University, and the University of Mississippi and assisted in conducting research at the University of Alabama. She has also provided services for children (elementary to adolescent students) in a public school system.

Dr. Boswell is deeply committed to promoting wellness, empowerment, and personal growth; advancing student academic success; and supporting the education, training, and development of future clinicians. Her dedication is evident through her current work and past contributions, including facilitating workshops focused on wellness and college achievement, participating in recruitment efforts for interns, practicum students, and professional colleagues, and actively engaging in the training and supervision of graduate-level interns and practicum students.
