MeGan Hill, MPH, MCHES, was born in Jefferson City, Tennessee, and raised in Fort Washington, Maryland. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Applied Kinesiology and Physiology from the University of Florida and a Master of Public Health from Eastern Virginia Medical School and Old Dominion University. She is currently working on her PhD at Howard University in medical sociology.

Public Health Leadership

MeGan has had a lucrative career in both public health and academia for over 10 years. She has worked in various settings inclusive of the federal government, higher education, early childhood education, community health, fitness, and nonprofit sectors.

She has extensive hands-on experience with program planning, policy research, program implementation, data analysis, program evaluation, and qualitative research methods. Her specialized experience and training in behavioral health change and preventive care allow her to make a difference in the lives of many.

Career and Life

MeGan’s current position is a program specialist. In her role, she oversees grantees implementing adolescent pregnancy and sexually transmitted infection prevention programs. She is also an adjunct professor at several HBCUs and community colleges throughout Maryland and Virginia.

When MeGan is not working, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and going to brunch.
