Vernishia Hill Graham, MD, is a native of Montgomery, Alabama, born to the late Vernon Hill, Sr., and Gene Hill. She attended Montgomery Public Schools, graduating from Jefferson Davis High School in 1995. She started her undergraduate studies at the University of Alabama Tuscaloosa before transferring to the University of Alabama at Birmingham, majoring in Health Promotions. After completion of her Bachelor of Arts in Health Promotion, she pursued a master’s in exercise physiology. Dr. Graham participated in the research of muscle memory in geriatrics and is on several published papers.

Medical Training

While working on research, Dr. Graham decided to pursue her passion for helping individuals achieve their best health. She began and completed medical school at St. Matthews University School of Medicine at the satellite program located in Portland, Maine. Dr. Graham returned home to Montgomery, Alabama, to complete residency at the Montgomery Family Medicine residency program. She and her medical partner established Family Care Associates, initially employed by Baptist Health Systems, in 2011. They transitioned into private practice at its current location in 2015.

Beyond the Practice

Dr. Graham is currently co-owner of Family Care Associates as well as founder and medical director of Montgomery Laser and Skin Spa.

Dr. Vernishia Hill Graham is married to Sherard Graham, and they have three beautiful children, Sydney, Skylar, and Sawyer Graham. In her spare time, she enjoys watching competitive sports, spending time with her family, and traveling.
